Terms of service for agencies

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of La Llave's agency portal (lallave.co), a software platform that automatically generates property intelligence reports (cadastral data, local prices, risks and an indicative valuation) from an address, and lets agencies register buyer demand.

The service is intended exclusively for professionals: estate agencies and other businesses or professionals in the property sector. It is not intended for consumers.

2. Sign-up and access

Access must be requested at /agencia and is subject to La Llave validating the agency. We may refuse or revoke access for agencies that do not comply with these terms.

Access is provided through links sent to the agency's contact email. The agency is responsible for the use of its account and for keeping those access links confidential.

3. Credits and prices

Each report uses 1 credit. Validated agencies receive 1 free welcome credit; further credits are purchased in prepaid credit packs.

Current prices are published on the agencies page (/en/agencia#precios) and include applicable VAT. Credits do not expire while the account is active.

4. Payment through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it collects payment, issues the invoice and handles payment enquiries and returns.

By purchasing credits you also accept Paddle's buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Credits are added to your balance once Paddle confirms the payment.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy (/en/reembolsos): in short, unused credits can be refunded if requested within 14 days of purchase.

6. Nature of the reports

Reports are generated automatically from public data sources and statistical estimates. They are indicative: they are not an official valuation and do not replace checking the information in the relevant registers.

The agency is responsible for verifying the data before making, or recommending to third parties, any decision based on a report.

7. Permitted use

Reports may be used in the agency's professional activity, including sharing them with its clients. Bulk reselling, automated extraction of data from the platform and any unlawful use are not permitted.

Any demand or property information that La Llave shares with the agency is confidential and may only be used for the transaction for which it is shared.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (/en/privacidad). If the agency enters third-party data (for example, buyers' data), it warrants that it has a lawful basis to do so.

9. Liability

We provide the service with due care but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to the agency is limited to the amount it paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. The agency may close its account at any time by writing to [email protected]; unused credits are refunded in accordance with the refund policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email with reasonable notice and do not affect credits already purchased.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The parties submit any dispute to the courts of Barcelona.
